Cookpanion’s Pantry feature helps you keep track of the ingredients you have at home so you can find and create recipes using what’s already in your kitchen. This article will walk you through how to access, add to, and make the most of your pantry.

Accessing the pantry

Please note that you must have an account to use the pantry feature.

Once your account is created, tap the “Pantry” button in the bottom right of the screen. This will bring you to your pantry, where you can view and manage everything you have on hand.

Pantry sections

Your pantry is organized into four sections to help you keep track of where your items are stored:

You can switch between these sections using the tabs at the top of the Pantry screen.

Adding ingredients to your pantry

There are two ways to add items to your pantry:

For both methods, you can customize the emoji shown for each ingredient by tapping on it and typing a new one.

Removing items from your pantry

Recommended: Tap the green plus (+) button next to an item to remove it from your pantry and send it directly to your grocery list.

Alternatively, you can tap the minus (–) button to simply delete the item from your pantry.

Searching for ingredients

Use the search bar at the top of the Pantry screen to quickly find specific ingredients in your collection.

Using your pantry to create recipes

Once your pantry is set up, you can use it to create recipes with what you already have. Tap the middle button on the bottom tab bar to go to the Recipe Creator screen. From there, Cookpanion’s AI will generate a recipe using your current pantry items.

With Cookpanion’s Pantry feature, managing your kitchen inventory is easy—and cooking with what you already have becomes effortless.
